I was only looking for a local place to buy an HVAC part I needed for the heater repair job I was working on. I found the part I needed online but decided to call Barrett Services to see if I could buy the part from him locally and save myself the 3-4 days shipping time. I explained the problem I was having and my proposed solution. Josh spent a good 10-15 minutes on the phone talking me through a couple of ideas to make sure I was going down the right path for my repair. He said that he used to be able to get the part I needed locally for about the same price that I could find online but his supplier was now only stocking the part in a more expensive bundle with other parts I didn't need. Because of that, he suggested I just buy the part online for the much cheaper non-bundled price because he couldn't it cheaper.

If he was able to get my part locally, I totally would have paid a little more for the convenience of having it right away. Josh was honest with me and didn't try to convince me to buy the bundle of parts that I didn't need at a price way above what I really needed to pay. Even though he knew I wouldn't be using his services because I was doing the job myself, he still walked through a few troubleshooting steps over the phone with me AND saved me money. What an awesome guy!

If I ever have a big job I can't handle myself, I will definitely be giving Barrett Services a call.
